St Joseph CDC is committed to providing quality pre-school education based on the individual needs of each child. The mission is to assist parents in preparing their preschool age children for a life-time of learning, so children will develop a love for learning and will receive a solid foundation for the next stage in their development. To achieve this mission our calendar matches Russell County schools for breaks, holidays and staff development days. Our daily routine closely mirrors that of traditional schools, with hours starting at 8 am and ending at 2:30pm.

The following safety and health measures have and will continue to be
implemented in order to reduce the risk to exposure to COVID-19:
•Conduct routine, daily temperature checks of students
•Face masks or face shields are optional
Students with a cough or runny nose need to wear a mask to school as well as bring an extra in case one gets dirty. Masks should be washable/reusable style, not disposable ones.
•It is our objective to develop the whole child; spiritually, socially, emotionally, morally and physically- according to the guidelines of the Department of Human Resources.
•School staff are sensitive to the differences in children by age and their readiness academically, emotionally and socially; therefore, the school experience is planned and implemented to help each child grow.
•St. Joseph is also committed to involve each family as an integral partner in the Center. We will stimulate and motivate parents to actively participate in school related activities, including membership in the parent advisory committee.
